Overview of Quest Village...
Located in Cedar Park, Texas, the subdivision of Quest Village consists of 326 middle-class homes in a variety of floorplans and elevations with the average home having approximately 1,800 - 2,000 square feet. Constructed by Milburn Homes, the build out took a little over three years to complete with the subdivision itself is situated off of Discovery Boulevard with very easy access to both Highway 183 and F.M. 1431.
Conveniently located within one mile of Quest Village are commonly used businesses such as Blockbuster Video, Walgreens, Albertsons and HEB grocery stores, Wal-Mart Supercenter, Jack Brown Cleaners, and many other small private retail businesses as well as the Cedar Park Public Library, City Hall, and the future Cedar Park Justice Center.
As a planned development, the various floorplans found in Quest Village include the:
The City of Cedar Park has a well laid out five-year plan for the development of the proposed downtown area adjacent to Quest Village (on the North / West side of Discovery Boulevard). This plan, along with strict landscaping codes and building requirements, includes a number of development schemes that will (if properly executed) enhance the aesthetics of our community along with increasing property value for homeowners. Current and planned developments include:
Williamson County Justice Center - This building, which will be similar in design to the Williamson County Annex, will be the future home of the Cedar park Police Department as well as the Williamson County and Cedar Park Courts. This development is to be located on the corner across from "The Pointe" assisted living center at the intersection of Quest and Discovery Boulevard. Aside from being the home of the Cedar Park Police Department, the center will also host a well-equipped and modern Community Room for community and HOA events as well as a four-hour holding cell (NOT a jail facility). Suspects will only be held in this facility for four hours before they are either released or transported to the Williamson County facility in Georgetown.
Sagebrook Health Center - Sagebrook Health Center (currently under construction) is a care facility for terminally ill patients suffering from a variety of illnesses. This facility is located at the corner of F.M. 1431 and Discovery Boulevard across from the Seton medical clinic.
Cedar Park Community Park - The Cedar Park Community Park will be across from the Cedar Park Justice Center. This will be a 4 acre tract of land that is landscaped and developed (with a trail) as a community park for city residents.
H.E.B. Grocery - A new H.E.B. Grocery store is scheduled for construction at the corner of F.M. 1431 and Parmer Lane. No date for project beginning or completion has been announced.
Future Residential Developments - Future residential and light commercial developments are planned for construction across F.M. 1431 (North side) behind the railroad (historic steamtrain) station and surrounding areas. These residential areas will consist of high-end luxury homes coupled with condominiums and small retail and commercial businesses. The homes will be constructed with alley's so that trash cans and utility placements are not located in front of the homes. In addition, a 'small' lake is to be formed in the center of this development with a drive-across bridge allowing access to the area. The lake will be formed from the damming of a small, little known, federal waterway which runs through the area.
